Centuries later, the connection resurfaced through Babidi's machinations, introducing Dabura, the actual reigning Demon King. Though manipulated by the intergalactic sorcerer Babidi during the Buu Saga, Dabura remained the sovereign ruler of his people until he was killed by Majin Buu; contrary to popular belief, it was his victims who suffered petrification, not him.
